Eric Tobin has surveyed for Reptiles and Amphibians for over 15 years, 4 of which he has done as a professional Herpetologists. Eric Tobin has done professional survey work for Michigan Natural Features Inventory, the Michigan DNR, Kalamazoo Conservation District, and the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs. He has worked on projects like the Canidate Conservation Agreement for the Eastern Massasauga Rattlesnake, The Frog and Toad Survey, Marsh Monitoring Program, Herp Atlas Project, and has recently completed a Reptile and Amphibian inventory at Fort Custer Training Center covering over 7,500 Acres.

Eric is particularly skilled at locating Michigan's rarest species from all over the state. Eric is skilled at surveying in all different types of habitats from Fens to wooded swamps, to grasslands, and oak forests.
